This project describes how one USB port can provide all of the signals necessary to operate a transceiver in digital mode from a Windows XP laptop. The transceiver, in this case, is a PSK-80 Warbler from Small Wonder Labs. If you are among the many laptop owners with a USB port but no serial port, you now have the ability to get a digital mode station on the air using this simple interface. (Note: The final version photo with the unpainted front panel shows the additional volume control and circuitry for audio monitoring).
